I liked Rhimes’ premise, the attitude that one’s life expands with new capabilities and personal growth by saying Yes to things that scare us. I admired her writing style – confiding, witty/funny, attention-catching images. In listening to the audio version I got distracted by the tone of her vocal inflection (that I may have misinterpreted) and heard self-glorification in the frequent repetition of her stellar accomplishments. It’s an entertaining memoir firstly, and a motivational help, secondly, by her personal example.
