"A revealing, dramatic, deeply personal book about the most significant events of our time, written by the former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is widely admired for her forthright manner ("With all due respect, I don't get confused"), her sensitive approach to tragic events, and her confident representation of America's interests as our Ambassador to the United Nations during times of crisis and consequence. In this book, Haley offers a first-hand perspective on major national and international matters, as well as a behind-the-scenes account of her tenure in the Trump administration. This book reveals a woman who can hold her own-and better-in domestic and international power politics, a diplomat who is unafraid to take a principled stand even when it is unpopular, and a leader who seeks to bring Americans together in divisive times"-- Provided by publisher.

Not the greatest of DC memoir books I've ever read, but contains a lot of valuable material including the workings of the UN, and behind the scenes of the Trump white house. I think she generally gives a much more balanced and positive portrayal of Trump than some of the other books from admin insiders (McCabe, Comey, Mattis). Mattis to his credit does not really have much to say about Trump. "I don't write about sitting presidents," he writes (paraphrase from memory).

My impression is that Nikki Haley has the heart of a liberal and the brain of a conservative. I've seen her mentioned more and more as a possible GOP presidential nominee in 2024, although that's a ways off.

An interesting side note is that she doesn't list a co-author or ghost writer, even in the acknowledgements. It appears she must have written it herself, and if so she's a good writer for a politico.

Interesting, inciteful and easy to read, "With all do respect" fills in the gasps that news media fails to tell the American public. If you did not know Nikki Haley before reading, you will come away with renewed respect and a renewed theory that this is what a public servant of the people should be like. She has a since of humor, moral responsibility for humanity and deep believe that education is very important. A must read!
