This book is a book of theories by the author as how the dog became man's best friend. There is good support in several genre and it is clear as the to author's choice of the evolution. Good reading for information. I lean towards the man/puppy theory, which makes more sense to me. However, the author gives bits of thought for other possibilities and makes some very bold statements.
