The author of RICH DAD, POOR DAD uses the comic-book format and an anthropomorphic mouse (rat?) and turtle to frame the familiar parables (supposedly drawn from his own childhood) that convey his philosophy of self-help investing and entrepreneurship. A painless way to learn a concept or two about money management, and a potentially inspiring story for young go-getters, but kids who are serious about getting rich should be encouraged to read widely on the subject, including the many critiques of the "Rich Dad" approach.
