Stunning black and white illustration work supports intricately told tale of sibling rivalry.

The beginning of this story threw me off, because it starts at the end, jumps to the middle, then goes to the beginning. It jumps through time a lot, and because of that I had trouble connecting with the characters. Once I did finally get the voice and was on firm ground, the story was almost over, and what I could appreciate, the beautiful illustrations, B&W but full of detail, and the strong characters, was too little too late. I wouldn't recommend this.

I found the story was good, the dialogue okay, the drawings acceptable.

This book really made me appreciate the close relationship I have with my Irish Twin. We are the exact opposite of Omar and Yaquab in almost every way. This book made me wonder how twins can grow so far apart. This is definitely worth reading and owning. I will buy it asap. Moon and Ba never disappoint and can't to see what they have in store next.
