This book was recommended by Terry O'Reilly, the marketeer and CBC host of "Under the Influence". Like many business books, it takes a Good Idea that can be explained in one or two chapters and expands it into a tome by using real life examples and stories, and repeating itself over and over. O'Reilly has used some of the stories in his weekly broadcast and they are one of the book's best attributes, such as the mindset of the IKEA founder who always looked for angle on how to make the most from the least. The summaries at the end of each chapter are also useful, allowing the reader to skim the repetitive sections to get to the key points of value. Overall the book is worth a look for offering counter-intuitive ways to exploit constraints, turning a negative into a positive.
