Torchwood started out in season 1 as a promising spin-off of Doctor Who, but season 2 is truly awful. The series switches from suspenseful adventure to horror. The story lines are beyond ludicrous. The Harkness character remains as unlikeable as he was in the first season, maybe more so. And, they kill off series two regulars one would think would stay. Don't waste your time with it.

Love. It. I would agree that while season 1 was great, season 2 is even better. And Rhys (Kai Owen) gets to play a bigger part, which I think is great because he helps balance out the crazy.

One of my favourite things about this series is the ambiguous sexuality between characters. Fabulous show even though some of the episodes are a bit cheesy.

British humor and sensabilities mark the return of the Torchwood team. Team members were lost in the first season and there is even more loss and drama in season two. Overall each episode is better than the first season. Science fiction at its best.

Torchwood writers hit their stride. Season 2 is qualitatively better than Season 1, and Season 1 was pretty good.

I had no idea how sexual this series was going to be. Very open about sex in many ways shapes and forms. The storyline was good to carry through and certainly set it up for the 2011 Torchwood USA or whatever they are going to call the new series.

A bit campy, and some questionable acting. But fun nonetheless.
