This is the third and final novel of the Angelfire Trilogy and it was an amazing way to end the series. The entire book was filled with explosive moments but the first part of the book was a bit slow, which made the beginning a bit of a drag. However, as the last novel in the series the ending was amazing and still left with a bit of surprise rather than a super neat ending. This is definitely a book of romance, heartbreak, suspense, and written in an amazing way. I loved the mythology in this novel and how that was pulled on to make certain aspects in the novel more impactful and suspenseful. It was action packed , sweet, and I love both Will and Cadan. I’m sad the series is over but it was definitely a job well done. 4.5/5. @BSMarshmallows of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

I'm sort of torn with this one...I think I have to say the second book was my fave, because while reading this sometimes I liked it and sometimes I got bored. Sometimes the things that happened (especially the end) was a bit unrealistic, and I read on the author's blog somewhere that she wanted to write a novel about the strength of humanity, and I admire that. But in a way, she was making it seem like she was bashing on God or something and it makes me think whether this showed strength of humanity or arrogance? That being said, I liked the fact that it wasn't just about good vs evil, but more about strength. The strength of humanity, the strength of loyalty, and friendship, and the strength of Ellie and Will's relationship (which, despite the unrealistic and unexplainable ending), I found very mature and sweet.
