Jason Bourne takes a mission to rescue his only friend in the CIA, Martin Lindros, who disappeared in Africa while tracking shipments of yellowcake uranium. Once safely back in America, Lindros persuades Bourne to help track the money trail of terrorists buying the nuclear material in Odessa. But once there, Bourne is hampered by confusing flashbacks of unfamiliar places and events and he wonders: Is someone brainwashing him in order to throw him off the trail? Worse, is the man he saved in Africa really Martin Lindros? Now, Bourne is alone gathering evidence while trying to stay one step ahead of the terrorists who won't let anyone stand in their way of destroying the U.S.

This large print edition is gross.. I wipe everything that enters my house..washing this book was gross.

Some brown crud on front pages, coffee chocolate or SH&?..splashed throughout the pages & the back of the book had cigarette butt stuck to it & black stone dirt on last pages & back cover..

My husband is seriously worried about bedbugs

I have to return this book tomorrow.

Will read the small print version.

totally un-believable. Jason Bourne served in Nam and now he's present day, riding motorcycles, shooting guns when he's supposed to be 60-70! give me a break! this series is totally wrung out. Ludlum is the ultimate master and it should have ended there. This is a tired series. please end it!

With this the second Bourne book from Van Lustbader the writing in my opinion gets better. More exciting and faster paced. In this book we are introduced to Soraya Moore (a senior case officer). In future books we watch her career advance. This book has a lot of twists - all in all a good read.
