I also made the split pea soup. It's the best one I've ever tasted. Found several keepers in this book and all fairly easy to make.

Everything I've made from this book has been delicious. The recipes are mostly quick, simple and really good. I just made the split pea soup last night and it was so aromatic, hearty and healthy. They have a new book out about cooking on the weekends.
