Description

Dark Shadows Hover, a biographical fiction by Jordan Steven Sher, is the inspirational story of a young Jewish boy, Moris Albahari, and his harrowing journey from the small city of Drvar, Bosnia escaping transport to a Croatian death camp, and to eventually joining Tito’s Partisans during the Holocaust. Sher will be giving a book talk to include key information about how the war transpired in the former Yugoslavia. Sher has three previous books, with his more recent two about the war in Bosnia in the early1990s.

Jordan Steven Sher is the author of four books, three of which focus on Bosnia. His previous two books are a non-fiction and an historical fiction delving into the war in the 1990s that produced war crimes and genocide. His new book, Dark Shadows Hover, is a biographical fiction about Moris Albahari, a young Jewish boy who joined Tito’s Partisans to fight the Nazis and their collaborators. Jordan is a former middle school English teacher, and a social worker prior to that. He lives in San Carlos with his long-time love, having met as freshmen in college.
