In celebration of Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) Heritage Month we will be reading Darius the Great Is Not Okay by Adib Khorram. High school sophomore, Darius Kellner, doesn't expect much when he travels with his family to Iran to visit his maternal grandparents. As Darius begins a tender and intimate friendship with his grandparents' neighbor Sohrab, the story opens up into an exploration of understanding one's identity—both personally and culturally.
